A financial advert or promotion may be unclear or misleading[1] for many reasons. For example, if important information only appears in the small print, or if it sets unrealistic expectations.

If you’ve come across a misleading financial advert, please report it to us using the form below. Include as much information as possible to help us in our investigation.

While we consider every report that’s sent to us, we can’t share details of any action we take. We also can’t resolve individual disputes you have with a firm. If you’re unhappy with a financial product or service, find out how to complain[2].
