Freedom of Information: Right to know request:
1. The number of mortgage terms of 35 years or more approved since March 2021
2. A breakdown of the number of mortgages approved this year (since March 2021) by the mortgage term length ie % that are 10 years, % that are 25 years etc
3. A breakdown of the number of mortgages approved per LTV band this year (since March 2021). Breakdown by the % of LTV ie 90% mortgage, 50% mortgage etc

In reviewing the 3 tables below please note:
- The data is based on the product sales data reporting by FCA regulated firms, in line with their requirements under SUP16.11 of the FCA Handbook. It excludes business loans and second charge mortgages.
- The data is provided by month from the start of April 2021 to end of June 2021, which is the most recent data currently available. Please note that firms are required to submit the product sales data to the FCA on a quarterly calendar basis and within 20 business days of the end of the quarter.
- The data may be different to other data published by the FCA on mortgage sales due to resubmissions reported by regulated firms.
