As of 11pm on 31 December 2020, the Brexit transition period ended and EU law no longer applies in the UK. Passporting of prospectuses between the UK and EEA states has ended.
Requesting a prospectus passport
It is no longer possible to request a certificate of approval to be issued by the UK to enable an approved prospectus to be passported from the UK into an overseas EEA jurisdiction.
Incoming passports
It is no longer possible for prospectuses approved by another EEA member state to be passported into the UK. However prospectuses passported to the UK before the end of the transition period will remain valid in the UK until their expiry (ie 1 year from the date of the original approval of the prospectus).
We've published a list of prospectus passports we received[1] up until 31 December 2020.
