Sale and rent back firms have had a full reporting regime since 2011. Find out what your firm needs to do.
In brief, your sale and rent back (SRB) firm should:
- send us a report every 6 months using the retail mediation activities return (RMAR)
- send us sections A to H of the mortgage lending and administration return (MLAR) every 3 months. Sections J and K need to be submitted annually. (If your firm has a combination of these permissions, it will need to send in both the RMAR and MLAR)
- collect product sales data every 3 months
- send us a half-yearly complaints return
