My FCA is a new portal for registered and authorised firms
Sign in once to go direct to your firm’s scheduled regulatory tasks and attestations in My FCA.
Each task has a due date and status so you can see what needs to be completed and when.
Your reminder emails for scheduled tasks in Connect now have a link to sign in to My FCA.
You need to make sure the information we hold about your firm is correct – such as your firm's name, contact information and permissions.
We use your firm's information to:
- Communicate with you.
- Ensure your firm is asked to submit the correct regulatory returns.
- Carry out thematic analysis across sectors and groups of firms.
We also publish certain firm details on the Financial Services Register (FS Register).
This page covers:
- Telling us about changes at your firm.
- Attestations: depending on your reporting requirements, you may also need to confirm your information annually.

Complete the Firm Details Attestation (FDA) at financial year end
Firms subject to SUP 16.10 reporting requirements must check, amend (if required) and confirm your firm details each year within 60 business days of your firm’s financial year end.
You are subject to SUP 16.10 if your firm is both:
- Authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA).
- Solely or dual regulated by us or the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
Before you start, you’ll need to:

- Complete and submit the attestation by the due date.

Which details you need to confirm – every year
Even if your firm's details haven’t changed from the previous year, you still need to log into My FCA and confirm the following details are accurate:
- Registered name and trading names.
- Financial year end.
- Addresses and contact details for the registered office, principal place of business, head office, UK branch and invoices.
- Complaint contact details.
- Compliance officer details.
- Appointed representatives (if applicable).
- Auditor, reporting accountant, professional adviser, or locum details (all if applicable to your firm).
If your firm is registered with Companies House, please make sure that the registered name, registered office address, and financial year end date are up to date at Companies House.
Exemptions: firms that do not need to attest
You do not need to attest every year if you are:
- An investment company with variable capital (ICVC).
- An undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) qualifier.
- An alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) qualifier or dormant account fund operator.
- A non-FSMA firm registered with us under other regulations or directives like the Payment Services Directive or Electronic Money Directive.
Directory Persons’ Attestation (DPA)
If your firm submits Directory Persons’ data to us, your firm is subject to SUP 16.26 reporting requirements.
These requirements mean that you must submit a Directory Persons' Attestation (DPA) to confirm that the data we hold is accurate and up to date.
This is a different process to confirming your firm's details – you'll need to submit a separate DPA form on Connect.
- Sign in to My FCA using your existing Connect details.
- Check your Directory Persons’ details on the FS Register. Go to the section: 'Who is involved with activities at this firm?'
- Under 'Next tasks', go to 'Directory Persons’ Attestation'.
- Submit any updates via 'Amend and/or End Date Directory Person(s)' or 'Add Directory Person(s)' by the due date.
- If all details are up to date, complete and submit the Attestation of accuracy by the due date.
- Go back to My FCA to see what is due next in your task list.
We publish a directory of certified and assessed persons on the FS Register.
If not, you'll receive a late return notification and a £250 late return fee. The FS Register will display a non-compliant banner, and we may also take enforcement action against you.
