I would like to obtain information on these cases - specifically, how many of the above individuals performed a senior manager function in their respective firms? I would appreciate this information broken down by year.”
FCA response:
By way of context, please note that the ‘Number of convictions/criminal outcomes’ referenced in your request include both convictions and confiscation orders. The number of convictions, for the specified years, can be found in Table A below.
In relation to these figures, we can confirm that none of the individuals convicted performed a senior manager function. Please note that a confiscation order is only imposed following a conviction and as we did not obtain a conviction against any individual performing a senior manager function, equally, we would not have obtained any confiscation orders against any such individuals.
Please also note that the majority of the individuals convicted were not authorised by the FCA.
