Previously, annual figures on the number of claims management companies (CMCs) regulated were published by the Claims Management Regulation Unit (CMU) of the MoJ. The last annual figures published were for 2017-2018.
- Have you any figures available that can tell me how many CMCs the FCA has given licences to, and how many applications are still being processed?
- Would it also be possible to say how many of the CMCs licensed are operating in personal injury or clinical negligence sectors?
