Freedom of Information: Right to know request:
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from the Financial Conduct Authority:
1. How many firms reported to you under COREP in 2019?
2. Of those firms, please provide a breakdown by firm type.
3. In respect of those COREP returns submitted in 2019, how many COREP reporting errors were identified in 2019?
4. In respect of those COREP returns submitted in 2019, how many COREP reports were resubmitted by firms in 2019?
5. What proportion of those errors related to credit risk, market risk, operational risk, own funds and capital adequacy ratios?
If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under your Section 16 obligations, as to how I can refine my request to be included in the scope of the Act.
In any case, if you can identify ways that my request could be refined, please provide further advice and assistance to indicate this.
